The concept of FoodTronix was born in Dallas, Texas early 2000 when several DeVry graduates went to a restaurant and stood in line too long. After learning the restaurant had no technology implemented, the graduates formed a consulting task force to determine what could make a restaurant run better. Over the years, data has been gathered from studying the operations of many small restaurants -- with and without technology solutions. Many restaurants with technology implemented, were only partially optimized. The lines did not decrease, the wait speed did not increase, and the cook staff efficiency wasn't affected.

From this was born the FoodTronix suite of products. All of which address the major components of the restaurant business, not just the Point Of Sale or deliveries. In March of 2002, the technical designs of these products were complete and development began.

Houston Tractor Sales and Rentals Lansdowne-Moody Heavy Equipment and Tractor Rentals Henry Ford had something other than cars on his mind in 1883. A 20-year-old just off the farm, he was thinking about how fieldwork could be done better by machines. After he mastered the assembly line automobile in the early 1900s, Ford returned his attention to tractors with the 1917 formation of Henry Ford and Son. By the end of that year, Fordson tractors were coming off the assembly line, and an order for 7,000 was placed by Great Britain to boost wartime food production. In 1917, George U. Lansdowne established a hardware and appliance firm, and in 1937, acquired the Ford tractor dealership with the financial backing of the Moody family from Galveston.
